The Happiness Toolkit

An Introductory workshop for building a happier life – for teens to adult

Most of us know that happiness comes and goes throughout our lives.  When we have it, we feel better. When we don’t, we want it. But what we don’t often know is what genuinely makes us happy and why it matters.  Scientists have been studying happiness for several years now, measuring its effects on our health, relationships, communities and more. The results are fascinating, and helpful.

Local writer, educator and Positive Psychology Coach, Mary Judd, has worked with many of the leading researchers in the Science of Happiness – the study of  “What’s right with us.” She has learned many tools that help us build and maintain happier lives. (She’s used many of these tools herself in dealing with a chronic disease!)

In this half-day workshop Mary will discuss the development and importance of this rapidly growing field and:

•offer tools for building more happiness in your own life

•share stories from her interviews with people from around the world

•provide resources for those who would like to learn more
